Meet Eric Strom

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Eric specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression, with a strong focus on helping men become more present, emotionally attuned, and connected in their relationships. He works with teen boys, young men preparing to leave for basic training, and adult men navigating life transitions. Eric is trained in Brainspotting and EMDR and has a deep interest in body-focused trauma treatments.

Eric brings extensive experience in both clinical and military settings. A Veteran, he served as an enlisted Marine in the U.S. Marine Corps and now as a Behavioral Health Officer and Company Commander in the MN Army National Guard.

Eric has been featured on The Trauma Therapist Podcast, presented at the MN NASW Annual Conference, and contributed to Coverage.com on self-care during COVID. He has also been a guest speaker at multiple universities, educating future clinicians on trauma and effective treatment approaches.

In addition to therapy, Eric offers coaching services for individuals feeling stuck in their life or career. His structured, results-driven approach helps clients remove roadblocks with laser focus and achieve meaningful change.

When not providing therapy or coaching, Eric enjoys spending time outdoors, flying with his private pilot’s license, and making memories with his wife and two kids.
